The P&C run a monthly recycling collection of containers with the 10c refund logo. This includes plastic and aluminium containers but NO GLASS at all.
Think beer cans, soft drink, sparkling and still water bottles etc – Containers cannot be accepted if they don’t have the 10c refund logo.
They need to be uncrushed as per below image to be accepted.
The collection happens on the first Thursday of each month.
The next collection is 5th November
You can drop your orange bags at the Kiss and Drop from 7:30am-9:15am.
This is a great fundraising opportunity for the school as it is minimal effort and if we all collect eligible containers it can raise thousands of dollars for the school!
If you’d like to assist this year on the once per month collection day please contact the P&C – anzacparkpandc@gmail.com – THANK YOU!
TEACHERS AND STAFF THANK YOU!
So too does Charles – our friendly lollypop man who keeps our kids safe and traffic moving along

Anzac Park is a proud uniform wearing school. A couple of reminders regarding our uniform:
We appreciate the support of all families in adhering to these uniform guidelines. As the weather starts to become colder, we are increasingly dealing with the challenge of tracking down jumpers and jackets when they are taken off at school. It is very frustrating when expensive clothing is lost or we are unable to return jackets to the owners as they do not have names on them.
Let’s work together as a whole school to do the following:
In this 90 minute workshop, Dr Goodwin will arm parents with research-based yet realistic advice to help you feel confident raising a child in a digital age. She will provide a simple formula to determine healthy screentime and how you can establish online boundaries. This will be held online via zoom.
Please join our monthly P&C meeting, we are always happy to see new faces. This is a great opportunity to hear about what is happening within the school and offer any suggestions you may have.
There are many opportunities both big and small for parents to become involved in the school and we welcome any new volunteers for 2021.
Time flies when you are having fun! On Friday 23 July (Week 2, Term 3), Kindergarten students will be celebrating a very special milestone – 100 days of Kindergarten! To commemorate this occasion, children will be participating in a variety of engaging and fun activities at school, including STEAM challenges, bingo and a senior citizens disco!
Children are encouraged to come dressed as a 100 year old for the day to mark this special occasion. The Kindergarten teachers are looking forward to dressing up and celebrating this exciting milestone next term!
Dr Richardson will present a 90 minute workshop on raising happier kids. She will provide practical skills for you to implement at home to support your child’s mental health, resilience, leadership skills, creativity & skills to build stronger relationships
Mountain Top at Anzac Park is an exciting initiative and will take place at Anzac Park over two nights this year. Mountain Top is an opportunity to celebrate and showcase the work of every student at Anzac Park and will be the culmination of student achievement for Semester 1. The evenings will involve all students sharing at least one aspect of their learning from Semester 1 and students will be acknowledged on the evening for their commitment to our six global competencies. This will be a wonderful community celebration and I would like to encourage you all to save the date now so that you will be able to attend this fabulous Anzac Park event. Due to COVID restrictions, families will need to book into a session on either Wednesday 23 June or Thursday 24 June to limit the number of families onsite at any one time. More information about session bookings will be sent later this term.
